Changing the Wine World
I realize that I am probably a bit late to the wine tasting party, but I discovered Wine Library TV a few weeks ago and it has really grown on me. The host, Gary Vay-Ner-CHUCK (as he emphasizes the syllables) has a very frenetic “in your face” presentation that may be a bit overwhelming at first, but his enthusiasm for the topic of wine is great. Anyone who can describe a wine as having Skittles or Cocoa Puffs flavors deserves at least one watch :-)They’ve made almost 300 episodes, so there’s a large back catalog of episodes to watch. After you’ve seen him review some wines, I recommend the oft referenced Episode #148 where Gary talks about training your palate. Good stuff.
